Head Coach Position...
We are looking for a Level 2 or 3 Tennis Coach to take up the place as Head Coach based in our South Warwickshire Venues:
Tudor Hall School
Various local primary schools
Tysoe Tennis Club
(based in South Warwickshire, Banbury area)
We also offer a year-round, fully comprehensive programme with a number of other schools and nurseries which we are looking to grow. We are looking for the ideal candidates to have either an LTA, PTR or RPT Qualification. They should have a sound knowledge of Mini Tennis, and a good experience of working and in either club and/or school programmes.
We operate across a number of sites, all close together and all within easy access to the M40.
We are looking for a Level 2 or higher qualified coaches, with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a coaching team.
Providing a continuous relationship with our schools is therefore of upmost importance, one which requires a competent coach, who is comfortable working both in and out of the club environment.
The role will involve a number of duties and responsibilities, including a minimum of:
Groups per week (Schools, daytime & afterschool hours)
Groups (Club based)
Additional hours can be achieved through individual Lessons
The successful candidates will need to have internet access, a car and live within a reasonable radius of Banbury, or be looking to relocate to this area.
Head up and manage the Coaching programme
To lead coach sessions in the mini Tennis development through to Juniors from tots upwards
Weekend commitment and availability to coach (also looking to run tournaments in addition)
Coach support on our Nursery School Network, also linking into Primary school programme and then signpost Children from schools into coaching venues
Work in close relation to the coaching team for schools and club Development
Players in the development Mini Tennis Programmes
Schools Network (Current players on courses or roadshows)
Identify the children with potential for talent identification

Office Administrator Position:
This role will be supporting the Coaching Director / Head Coach
The role will have keys areas of priority
Emailing of Programme details to club members, schools, clients
Updating Payment interface, client accounts, new member processes
Maintaining up to date databases
Updating the coaching TEAM on changes and courses/client details Marketing of Courses, Clubs, Coaches in local and social & local media
Linking any Marketing and Promotional material through the website & social media streams
Identifying, contacting and liaising with potential revenue streams and stakeholders
Attracting and engaging local companies and community groups
Networking through local groups
Knowledge of Tennis would be of great benefit however it’s not essential.
You will be able to demonstrate knowledge in IT in particular Microsoft office, accounts or office management. Consumer facing skills are also a key pre-requisite.
You will need to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft platforms. You will also need to be mobile in order to visit, when necessary, one of the businesses’ other nearby offices, clubs etc. You will need to be a good communicator, well presented, with experience of working in a professional office or freelance environment. Background knowledge in sports and/or club programme structures is desirable but not essential, the most suitable candidate will be successful.
You must hold a FULL driving License; the position is primarily home based so have a mobile/landline for work purposes and have full Internet access.
